Arlene ''Betty'' Earley, 71 years, of Congress Street died Sunday at a Portland nursing home. She was born in South Portland and was the daughter of Cecil and Irene Reynolds.
She was a homemaker all her life, she enjoyed taking bus trips, was a member of the Salvation Army Golden Agers Club.
Her husband, John Earley Sr., died in 1964, four sons, John, passed in 2002 and William in 2003, Joseph and James, three daughters, June, Arlene and Joanne; one brother, William; one sister, June; she had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, at Hay & Peabody, 749 Congress St. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
