HADLEY, Megan Leanne
Of Citrus Heights, CA, passed away August 8, 2004, age 21 years. Daughter of Sally Hadley and Ralph Cortex, & father, Rusty Hadley. Sister of Amy Gonzales. Granddaughter of John and Beverly Burke, and Billie Veloni. Aunt of Sara Gonzales.

They all graduated together from Casa Roble High School. They all worked at the Cheesecake Factory on Arden Way. They all sang and were working on an R&B CD.
The three inseparable best friends died Sunday morning on Interstate 80 near Loomis when their car went out of control and struck a tree.

Megan Leanne Hadley, 21; Kristina Ann "Kristy" Blake, 21; and Carmel Elizabeth Lea, 20, all of Citrus Heights, had been heading back from Hot August Nights, another adventure for the fun-loving clique that lived together in twos. A fourth friend in the tightly knit group had stayed home.
Their car clipped a sport-util ity vehicle about 5:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. It left the road, hit a tree and split in two. They died at the scene.
