Son of Edward P. Chamberlin, Sr. and LaVisa Jane Catchings/Chamberlin. Grandson of Seymour Scott Catchings and Elizabeth West/Catchings.
Allen was born in Lumpkin, Stewart County, Georgia and died in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. He was the oldest of five children and one of three boys.
He was only 15 at the time of his death - reason is unknown. He was apparently named after his grandfather.
His siblings were Pauline, Edward P., Jr., Frank A. and Eva G. Chamberlin.
Note: Everything on this marker means something - the limbs off the trunk of the tree is a life cut short, the anchor, etc. Truly a beautiful marker. Oakland has a bookmark type thing that explains all the meanings.
