ST. CHARLES, IDAHO, GRACELLEN RINGEL MICHAELSON, 94 passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in Montpelier, Idaho. Gracellen was born September 3, 1915 to Friedrich Ludwig Ringel, Jr. & Melvina Charlotte Price in the old Presbyterian church in Paris, Idaho. She was the 6th of 10 children.

She attended the first four years of school in Pegram, Idaho, then they moved back to Paris where she continued her education & graduated while helping to take care of her younger siblings since her mother had passed away.

She met and married William Glenn Michaelson on November 14, 1935 in the Salt Lake Temple. To this union was born five sons, Glenn Dean, Terral R., Randell Roy, Calvin Kent & Rocky Kim.

She and Glenn loved to dance, becoming ward, then stake dance directors, teaching many youth over the years who still talk about how fun it was. She was a great cook, good seamstress and enjoyed taking care of her boys and later all the grandkids. She was the St. Charles Ward choir secretary for some time and sang in the choir for years. She and Glenn served as officiators at the Logan Temple for 2 years before he passed away on January 2, 1982, she continued serving more than 20 years which she truly enjoyed. She has always taught by example, so kind and gentle in all she did. Family was always so important to her and she wanted to know about each one. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints whose special smile, tightest hugs and unconditional love will forever be in our hearts.

Survived by her five sons, Dean (Maxine), Terral (Jody), Randell (Phyllis), Kent, Rocky (Cindy), 22 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren, 1 brother, Robert (Bob) Ringel (Verdene) & many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the St. Charles Ward on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11 a.m., viewing from 9 am. to 10:45 am. There will be a Friday night viewing in the St. Charles Ward from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. August 27, 2010.
