Hannah S. Greeley, was born in Maine, January 31, 1816. In 1837 she was married in Ohio to John Kint, who survives her. In 1848 the couple removed to their present home in Hazelton. Six children were born to them: Daniel Kint, of So. Dakota; George Kint, of Oelwein; W. H. Kint and Mrs. Betsey A. Young, of this county; a babe which died in infancy, and Mrs. Florence E. Hasbrouck, who died in 1883. The funeral services were held at the house on Saturday afternoon, conducted by Randal Jacobs, of Independence. The body was tenderly laid to rest in the Kint cemetery near by, there to await the resurrection morn. She leaves a large circle of sorrowing relatives and friends to mourn her departure.
