Pvt John Brenner, who has had three months Infantry training at Camp Robinson, Arkansas, and three months Field Artillery training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, was recently granted a transfer to the Paratroops. Pfc. John P. Brenner, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Baum is a member of the 503rd Paratroopers Infantry Regiment and has been in combat in the Pacific theatre of war for the past year. He has seen action on New Guinea, the invasions of Leyte, Mindaro and the recapture of Corregidor. Recently he took part in the invasion of another of the Philippine Islands.
