She married Carter Bruce in Franklin Parish on June 19, 1884. She married Samuel Holmes in Franklin Parish on May 30, 1889. Mr. Holmes preceded her in death in 1932.
She was survived by two stepdaughters, Effie Holmes Comeaux and Minnie Holmes Williams, both of Winnsboro; and a half-sister, Lydia A. "Liddie" Wall Robinson of Winnsboro.
