Marvin L. Ranck passed away on January 9, 2006 at the age of 86. He is survived by son, Dale; brothers, Richard and Charles; sisters, Joy Morrow, Patricia Burger, and Flossie Morgan; brother-in-law, Lori Morrow; sisters-in-law, Mary Alice and Arlene; and several nephews and nieces. He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran with service in the European Theater. Marvin was a foreman for Moran Electric Co. and Witco Richardson Co., retiring in 1986. He was a member of Freemason Capital City Lodge No. 312 and the Murat Shrine. Friends may call Saturday, January 13, from 1-2 p.m. at the Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center, 10722 E. Washington St., with the service to follow at 2 p.m. Entombment will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery. www.flannerbuchanan.com
