Tammy Lynn Chambers, 26 years of age, of Grundy Road in Somerset, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, June 17th, 2008 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Tammy died following an automobile accident Tuesday morning on Kentucky 461 South. The wreck occurred at 9:00 a.m. on the highway, approximately nine miles east of Somerset, Kentucky. Tammy was on her way home from work at the time of the accident.

She was born on December 30th, 1981 in Oneida, Tennessee to the late Ottis "Blue" Chambers and Rosemary Norman. She was a clerk for Peach City Fruit Market and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed singing, being outdoors, fishing, writing poetry and spending time with her family.

Tammy was survived by a son, Zachariah Chambers of Somerset, Kentucky; four daughters, Meredith Chambers, Rose Mary Bowling, Charity Bowling, and VenaLee Sears, all of Somerset, Kentucky; two brothers, Ottie (and Tommie) Chambers of North Carolina and Richard Chambers of Arkansas; five sisters, Sheila Stephens of North Carolina, Marie (and Eddie) Anthony of Alabama, Della (and Glenn) Adkins of Indiana, Janie (and Bobby) Dykes of Somerset, Kentucky, and Alicia (and Mikey) Shelton of Somerset, Kentucky; and her stepfather, John Norman of Somerset, Kentucky.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis "Blue" Chambers and Rosemary Norman; and two brothers, Sterling Allen Chambers and Levi Chambers.

Visitations were held on Friday, June 20th, 2008 after 6:00 p.m. at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 21st, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Bowling officiating.

Burial followed in the Adkins-Arthur Cemetery in Somerset, Kentucky.
