Mary "Grace" Becker age 73, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at her Levittown residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Cresson, Pa., she was the oldest of five children of the late Ferdinand and Pearl Buck. Grace grew up in Chest Springs, Pa.; she worked for the Patton Shirt Factory where she met her husband; after getting married to Francis they moved to Levittown, Pa. where they resided together happily for 48 years. Grace bowled for many years with her good friends and enjoyed numerous trips to Atlantic City as well as Las Vegas.
Left behind to cherish Grace's memory is her loving husband Francis "Eugene" Becker of 49 years. She was an incredible mother to her loving children, her daughter Michele Crouse of Morrisville, Pa. and her son Larry Becker of North Las Vegas, Nev. She is also survived by her brother Jim Buck and his wife Elda of Germantown, Pa., Francis Buck and his wife Agnes of Belvidere Pa., and Leonard Buck and his wife Pat of Patton, Pa.; her loving sister Marie Fierro and her husband Jim of Freemont, Calif.; a cousin Jerry Little and his wife Beverly of Va., and numerous nieces and nephews. Grace has also been a second MOM to many of Michele and Larry's friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, Pa. 19057. Interment will be private. In addition, a Memorial Service will be conducted on Monday evening at 8:30 p.m. the James O. Bradley Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, Pa. 19047. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
