The funeral service for Roy Franklin Barnhill of Paris will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Gary S. Collier will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Chosen as pallbearers are Mike, Johnny, William and Clint Barnhill, Michael Work, Hal Kenneth Charlton, Art Sinclair and Bob French.
Honorary pallbearers will be truck drivers from B&B Equipment Co., where Barnhill had been a truck driver and dispatcher.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Barnhill, 49, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at his residence. The cause of death has not been given.
His wife, April Gladden Barnhill, survives. They were married on Aug. 25, 1979.
Born Jan. 31, 1961, in Paris, he was the son of John Franklin Barnhill and Ruby Patrum Barnhill of Paris.
Barnhill was a 1979 Henry County High School graduate. He had been disabled since 2002. His wife said he was an avid deer hunter and had been a farmer.
He also leaves his father-in-law: Dale A. (Linda Silampa) Gladden of Buchanan; one daughter: Kelsea (Patrick "Mo") Reagan of Paris; one son: Jesse Barnhill of Jonesborough; one sister: Karen (Max) Middleton of Puryear; one niece: Nisha Middleton of Puryear; and several cousins.
His mother-in-law: Virginia Gladden, died Sept. 8, 1992.
