In 1900 she and her parents and two siblings lived on a farm they were renting in Perry Township, Coshocton County, OH.

In 1910 she and her parents and three siblings lived in a place they were renting in Washington Township, Licking County, OH. Her father worked as a laborer at a glass works.

In 1920 she and her husband and their son lived in a house they owned, with a mortgage, on Buena Vista Avenue in Utica, OH. He worked as a house painter.

In 1930 she and Claude and their three children lived in a house they owned on Licking Avenue in Utica. Their home was valued at $1050 and they had a radio. He worked as a residential decorator.

In 1940 she and her husband and their two younger sons lived in a house they owned at 385 Licking Avenue in Utica. Their home was valued at $800. Claude worked as a painter and paper hanger, with an income in 1939 of $800 for 36 weeks of work. Robert worked as a salesman in a grocery store.

(As of June 2017 there is no Licking Avenue in Utica. House numbers 370 and 385 in 1940 were between 291 Stanley Street and 207 Spring Street. There are two houses on School Street between between South Central Avenue and South Washington Street which may have been 370 and 385 Licking Avenue in 1940.)
