Funeral Rites Held


Funeral services were held for Mrs. Maud Parkin Call, 88, of 405 South 1st West, Bountiful, who died Sept. 22, 1973 in the LDS Hospital of natural causes.

MRS. CALL was born Feb. 22, 1885 in Woods Cross to Joseph and Eliza Snow Cooper Parkin. She married Chester Monroe Call, Jan. 18, 1905, in the Salt Lake Temple. He died Sept. 26, 1934.

She was a member of the LDS Bountiful Second Ward. For over 50 years she was Relief Society Visiting teacher, Primary teacher and Special Interest class teacher. She was a life time resident of Davis County.

SURVIVORS include: three sons, Otis Call, Bountiful; Chester P. Call and Frank P. Call, both of Kaysville; two daughters, Mrs. De Var (Beth) Woodard, Ontario, Ore. and Mrs. Phil (Madge) Bradley, Salt Lake City; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Bountiful Second Ward Chapel with Bishop Paul Eysser officiating.

FAMILY prayer was given by Maurice N. Call; prelude and postlude music was played by Lou Winegar; invocation was by Willard Call.

Speaker was Bishop Joseph Palmer, A vocal solo "Going Home" was sung by Deloris Huff, accompanied by Lou Winegar.

SCHUYLER Call spoke. A trumpet solo "Little Classic Suite" was played by Blaine Woodward.

Bishop's remarks were made by Bishop Paul Eysser.

A VOCAL solo "The End of a Perfect Day" was sung by Bishop Van Keizerwaard, accompanied by Lou Winegar.

Benediction was by John Page.

DEDICATION of the grave was by Newell Parkin. Interment was in the Bountiful Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Phil L. Bradley, De Var Woodward, Blaine Woodward, Phil C. Bradley, Maurice N. Call, and Alan Call.

CARE OF the flowers were by the Salt Lake 32nd Ward Relief Society.
