Birth: Sep. 30, 1874
Calhoun County
Michigan, USA
Death: Sep. 17, 1909
Battle Creek
Calhoun County
Michigan, USA

Adah Hall Canright died at the age of 35 in Nichol's Hospital, Battle Creek, Michigan. Her cause of death was typhoid fever.

Her residence at the time of her death was Battle Creek, Michigan.

Adah's parents were Orley Hall and Evaline (Eva) Morley Hall. (Note: Adah's siblings will be added to her online memorial when the research regarding them is complete).

She was married to Clifton Lester Canright, known simply as Lester, on December 25, 1891, in Burlington, Michigan. She was 17 and he was 21. According to the 1900 census, Adah's brother, T. Charlie Hall (born Feb. 1879, single), also lived with them; at that time they resided in Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., Michigan. Lester and Charlie are both listed as day laborers.

Adah had four children:
Leslie Jack Canright
Medah Blanche Canright Nicholson Duckworth La Turno
Clifton Orley Canright Horton
Beulah Adah Canright Hannant Butts

After Adah's death, only Leslie Jack remained with his father. For a time, Medah Blanche lived with her maternal grandparents, Orley and Eva Hall; she was then raised by her maternal aunt, Bessie Elvira Hall Katz Walsworth. Clifton Orley was adopted by William H. and Sarah L. Horton, who were family friends, and Beulah Adah was adopted by Charles and Alma Hannant, who were also family friends. The Hannants changed Beulah's middle name to Evelyn and soon moved to Portland, Oregon. The siblings did not reunite until adulthood.

Although Adah's husband, Clifton Lester Canright, remarried twice after Adah passed away, upon his death he was buried beside her and they share a headstone.
