American Revolutionary War Soldier. He was killed during the British retreat from Concord on the first day of the American Revolution, one of fifty Americans either killed or mortally wounded on that day. He was twenty-one years old at the time of his death. He was the son of Nathaniel Goldthwaite and his second wife, Sarah "Cavendish" Goldthwaite, herself the widow of Richard Girdler.
