He was united in marriage September 19, 1942 in Myrtle, MO to Ruby Faye Brown.
Survivors include his wife; 2 children, Phillis Otis and Janice Davis; 4 brothers, Noval, Noel (Bill), Virgil, and Floyd Cantrell; 1 sister, Neva Britton; 3 grandchildren, Sherry Tinker, Michelle Fashing, and Scott Davis; and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Meda Sisk.
Hubert was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Thayer, MO. He was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army and was a retired Real Estate Salesman.
Services were held September 1, 1996 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, MO with Rev. Jeff Smith and Rev. Grover Pingleton officiating.
