Our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Claude W Clarke passed away two days before his 90th birthday, surrounded by his family.
Born June 12, 1910, in Salt Lake to Herbert and Lily Westwood Clarke. Married Blanche Grace Nov 20, 1931 in Salt Lake City.
He served in World War II and worked for Coca Cola Bottling Co until his retirement.
Left behind to miss him are his daughter Katie and her husband Ralph Tippets, three grandchildren, whom he adored and their families, Jeff Tippets and wife, Regina, their two daughters, Alexandria and Spenser, Tamora Misker and husband, Robert, their three children, Ambyr, C. J. and Josephine, Trudy Reese and husband Donovan, their daughter Chelsa; his nephew and best friend Tom Davis and his wife Barbara.
He joined his wife, parents, brother, Bert Clarke, and sisters, Dorthy Kratzer, Vera Hurley, Grace McToggart and Neal Jensen.
He enjoyed being with his family, rides in the mountain, and watching the Jazz.
Services will be 1 p m Wed June 14, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E South Temple. Family and friends may call 6-8 p m Tuesday at the mortuary and one hour prior to the service. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
