Mrs. Annie Belle Taylor, age 68 of Crockett, formerly of Lufkin, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2004 in the V.A. Hospital in Houston. Mrs. Taylor was born September 14, 1936 in Corsicana and had been living in Crockett for the past 5 years, previously living in Lufkin. Mrs. Taylor was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served as a nurse. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Promiseland and Baptist Church and had worked as a nurse.
Survivors include her mother Grace Wilson, of Crockett; sisters Kaye Parish and husband Buddy, of Crockett, Gaye McDonald, of Weldon and Doris Taylor, of Va.; brothers Larry Wilson and wife Diana, of Pearson Chapel, Don Wilson and wife Mary, of Lufkin, Mickey Wilson and wife Jean Ann, of Bristow, Okla.; sister-in-law Pat Tay-lor and husband Roy, of New Caney; brother-in-law Jimmy Goldman, of New Caney; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a special friend and caregiver Angela Elmore.
Preceded in death by her husband Rayford W. Taylor; father Earl Crist; step-father J.W. Wilson; nephew Ben Wilson; and grandparents Bud and Belle Crist and George and Annie Young.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Annie Belle Taylor were held Saturday, November 27, at 10:00 a.m. in the Bethel Cemetery near Cayuga with the Rev. M.D. Scarborough officiating. Interment followed.
