Unit Activated 18 Mar 1942 Camp Forrest, TN, Deployed to Liverpool, England 8 Dec 1944, LeHavre, France 20 Jan 1945, Roer River Crossing Feb 1945, Crossed Rhine River 27 Mar 1945, Ruhr Pocket Apr 1945, Harz Mountains Apr 1945. Deactivated 8 Sep 1945 Camp Bowie, TX. Unit operated with the M-18 equiped with 76.2 mm M1A1 gun with 45 rounds and 50 cal machinegun 800 rounds. The M-36 with 90mm m3 gun 47 rounds and 50 cal 1000 rounds.
