Russ Caldwell, age 61, of Curtice Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at St. Vincent Medical Center. Russ had worked at B.P. for 36 years where he was most recently an Instrument Technician. Russ enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and he most loved playing with his grand-children. Russ is survived by his mother, Betty Caldwell; children, Cari Caldwell and Brodi (Erik LaPlante) Caldwell; brother, Bob Caldwell; sister Diane (Randy) Miller; grandchildren, Conor Caldwell-Gibbons, Luca Russell Caldwell-Gibbons, Kai LaPlante and Teo LaPlante. He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Caldwell. Visitation will be held 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hoeflinger Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave, Oregon, OH 43616 on Saturday November 26, 2011. The funeral service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 21140 W. Toledo St., Williston, OH 43468 on Sunday November 27, 2011 beginning at 1 p.m., with the body lying in state beginning at noon.
