Charles arrived In New York on the ship Etruria on 20 Jun 1887. He was the son of Robert Morton and Mary Scott of Northern Ireland. He worked as an engineer in the mines at Silver Bell, Arizona. He and Albina were married in Quebec, Canada, on Feb 13, 1888. Shortly before his passing from pneumonia, he applied for his American citizenship.
