Seaborn Luton Braddy was the son of Seaborn G. Braddy Sr. and Elizabeth Mason Braddy. He was one of at least 7 known children (from census records) consisting of; Epsy An, Wiliam L, Mary Tiney, Elizabeth Ann Jane, Wiley G, and Mason Monroe Braddy. He was born in Bibb County, Georgia. He was the husband of Julia Frances Jones Peacock Braddy whom he married on Jan 1, 1872 in Jones County, Georgia when she was barely 16 years old, and he 24. Some say or think Julia's maiden name may have been Jones, but due to her age, and Census records I find that have her a Peacock, the daughter of Asa Peacock and Sara Suddeth, I think perhaps her middle name was Jones. Together Seaborn and Julia were the parents of Doyle Dawson Braddy, Mary Ida Braddy Gilreath, John Simon Braddy, James Cooper (JC) Braddy and Tillman Ross Braddy Sr. Seaborn was a farmer all his life. Luckily my father and grandmother were very good at recording what little they knew about it and him, giving me leads to discover more. Seaborn farmed in Georgia and Florida according to census records of 1860 and 1910. The 1860 Census links him to his parents. Seaborn died September 30 1910 in Okaloosa Florida,and was a week away from turning 63. He was married to Julia for almost 39 years. Surviving him was his wife Julia, his children: Doyle, Mary, John, James and Tillman Sr., and grandchildren; Mack, Addie, Bertha, Rosa, and Annie Braddy, George, Carmen, Leona and Winton Gilreath. He is buried in Almarante Cemetery in Laurel Hill, Okaloosa county Florida. There are 3 pictures that I know of him with him and one of his tombstone. ANY!!! other information on him or the family would be appreciated and recorded.

His tombstone reads;
"Saborn L Braddy
Oct 6, 1847-Sept 30, 1910,
Age 62 Yrs, 11 Mos, 24 Ds.
Our father is gone.
A voice we loved is chilled.
A place is vacant in our home,
That never can be filled.
."

all known records spell his name Seaborn not Saborn as is on tombstone.
