Laura Albright went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to join her beloved husband Paul on November 13, 2011. She was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on January 30, 1924 to C. H. and Elizabeth Oldham Zachry. She spent virtually her entire life in Dallas. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1941 and attended Baylor University, where she met her husband of 56 years, Paul S. Albright. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Dallas. She also was a member of a local garden and bridge club for many years. Laura was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Lenore Downen of Carlsbad, NM. She is survived by her sister Mary Zachry McGinty of Farmington, NM, daughter Laura Bond of Dallas, son Sam Albright and wife Brenda of Pacific Palisades, CA, grandchildren David Klepak of Dallas and Samantha Albright of San Francisco, CA and many nephews and nieces. Laura not only had a brilliant mind, but also was a truly loving and empathetic person. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
