Beloved husband of Edith Aitkenhead (nee Hamilton); Dear father of Jan Carter, Joan (Randy) Judd, and Jim (Jenny) Aitkenheaad.
Dear grandfather of Jamie (Rob) King, Jessica Judd, Sarah (Jonathon) Alt, Jack Judd, Jason Aitkenhead, and Laura Aitkenhead; Dear great-grandfather of Miles and Emily King; Dear friend to many.
Harold was a graduate of Webster Groves High School, served in the Air Force during World War II, and retired from ACF Industries.
He was a volunteer at Shriners Hospital, St. Louis Science Center, and the Magic House.
Harold was a long time member at Glendale Presbyterian Church.
Services: A memorial service will be Friday, 10 a.m at BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood.
Visitation Friday from 9 a.m until time of service.
Interment National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Magic House in Kirkwood.
