Brian Scott Robbins, M.D., 33, of Glen Allen, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2009.

Brian was born in Los Angeles, CA.

He was a 1997 graduate of UC Irvine, 1998 graduate of Boston University, a 2002 graduate of Tel-Aviv University-Sackler School of Medicine, and he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center in 2005.

He was Board Certified in Internal Medicine. His accomplishments include Excellence in Research and Phi Beta Kappa. He was employed as a Hospitalist at St. Mary's Hospital.

He is survived by his loving wife of three years, Darcy Kullmann Robbins; his parents, Michael Robbins and Cheryl Robbins; his in-laws, Roland and Cathy Kullmann; a grandmother, Sybil Davis; a sister, Melissa Robbins; a sister-in-law, Jenna Kullmann; his uncle, Bob Davis and his wife, Wendy; and his cousin, McKenzie Davis Corrigan.

The family received guests at a gathering/visitation Monday, April 6, 2009, from 8am to 12 noon at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., with a reception following at the Robbins residence. Service 10am, Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Hillside Memorial Park & Mortuary, Los Angeles, CA, with entombment.
