Lydia S. Mann, 83, Campbell, died Wednesday, April 1, 1992 at St. Francis Medical Center. The funeral will be Saturday, April 4, 1992 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran church, Campbell, with Rev Bruce Holstein officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Campbell. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8:30 p.m. at the Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge, with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Lydia was born on Nov. 22, 1908 to Bert and Agnes (Bebler) Huse in Campbell. Until the past few weeks, when she had been a resident of the St. Francis Home, Breckenridge, Lydia had lived her entire life in Campbell. She was confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and graduated from Campbell High School, as salutatorian of her class. In January of 1934 she was united in marriage to marvin mann. She was widowed in 1950 and then raised her family by sewing and giving piano lessons. Music was such a part of her life and she served as the church organist for 38 years. She was also an avid sports fam and so enjoyed the pro football career her son, Errol, had. Her determination and spirit for life was felt by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Randall Mann, and his wife, Sharon, Fergus Falls; Errol Mann, Missoula, Mont., and Bonnie (Mrs. Duane) Gran, Campbelle, her grandchildren, Anita LaHaye and her husband Mike; Tim Mann and his wife, Beth; Tom Mann and Ryan and Melea Gran, and her sisters Druzilla Kath, Clarabelle Prohosky and Bernice McAmis.
