She was married to Joe C. Beasley at Adamsville, January 7, 1875, removing from there to Sumpter and later to Warren. She had been a member of the Baptist church since girlhood.
Mrs. Beasley is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W.H. Savage and Mrs. G.W. Savage of Sumpter; four sons, D.W. Beasley and S.W. Beasley of Sumpter and B.L. Beasley and J.T. Beasley of Warren; two sisters, Mrs. M. L. Bradley of Hamburg and Mrs. S.C. Thompson of Warren, 31 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 4:15 Sunday afternoon at Hickory Springs church by Rev. W.J. Mann, pastor of the Methodist church here. Pallbearers were: Frank Hickman, Lester Hunter, W.C. Hargis, B.S. Hargis, Laurence Hurley and Ernest Hankins. -- from the Eagle Democrat, Warren, AR
