SPRINGVILLE -- Rodney Angus, 54, died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday at a local service station.
He was born Feb. 13, 1893 at Lake Shore, Utah County, a son of Henry O. and Atta R. Markham Angus. He spent his early life in Lake Shore and attended school in Spanish Fork.
He married Delia Johnson on Dec. 20, 1916 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and they moved to Springville in 1924.
He was employed at Manti during the past winter and recently worked at Grand Junction, Colorado.
Surviving besides his widow are nine sons and daughters, Grant Angus, Salt Lake City; Verlen. Keith Jess, Carl and Nadine Angus and Mrs. Elmo Court, all of Springville; Leon Angus, U. S. Navy; Mrs. Owen Ford, Phoenis, Arizona; eight grandchildren, four brothers and sisters, John Angus, Benjamin, Utah County; F. A. Angus, Orland, California; Mrs. Jess Aitken, Louisville, Idaho; Mrs. Alvin L. Aitken, Easgle, Idaho.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Springville Third Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Grandpa, I don't quite understand why you are in the Spanish Fork and Grandma is in Springville but I think Aunt Nadine might know. if not I will just accept that funerals are for the living and it is what it is. Love you|
