Antony "Tony" Sena of El Sagundo, CA, passed into the loving arms of his savior Jesus, Tuesday, August 17, 2004, in Marina Del Ray, CA. He was 53.

Tony was born June 12, 1951, in Clovis, New Mexico. A gifted musician, he would go on to record and tour with some of the most well known secular and Christian musical artists.

In 1973 Sena would record with the band Joshua, becoming one of the earliest Christian rock bands on record. He would later be an in-demand studio guitarist and record and tour with the popular CCM musical group The Archers. Other albums he appeared on included Graham Kendrick's album "Fighter", Lewis McVey's "Spirit Of St. Lewis" and Starr Parodi's album "Change." He would add his talent to many top artists in concert including Bryan Duncan, Phil Keaggy, and Benny Hester.

Tony had been visiting a friend and asked for a glass of water. He then sat down and died, apparently from a sudden brain aneurism.

Family members said he had a heart for people and used his talent to inspire and bless others by taking his musical talent on tour across the United States and Europe. He also played his guitar on the White House lawn for President Jimmy Carter. He will be greatly missed.
