A quiet wedding took place Wednesday evening at 84 Royalston avenue, the residence of Freeman P. Lane, at which Miss Ina Lane and John E. Christian were joined as man and wife. No guests were present, with the exception of two or three near relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Christian will be at home at 588 Seventh avenue N. after July 1. The wedding was a surprise to every one, the parents of the contracting parties being informed of the intention of the young people only a day or two before the event took place. No cards were issued.
