Oklahoma City - R. Janice Naylor, 87, Oklahoma City, formerly of Topeka, died Wednesday, July 31, 1991, at a Midwest City hospital. She was born Feb 20, 1904, in Newkirk, Oklahoma Territory, the daughter of Charles Pierce and Florence Edna Sippy Brown. She lived in the Topeka area most of her life and in Tuscola, Ill., before she moved to Oklahoma City in 1979. Mrs. Naylor was a genealogist. She was married to Howard M. Naylor Aug. 21, 1925, in Topeka. He died July 26, 1983. Survivors include two daughters, (deceased at this posting) Judith Somers, Wichita, and Joan Sisco, Oklahoma City; a son, Jerome M. Naylor of Oneida TN, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Hope Chapel in Topeka. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka. Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home of Del City is in charge of arrangements.
