Tommie Sue Seymore Brown, 93, of 209 Cotton Gin Road, widow of Charles Moore, Gene Morris, and Chandler Brown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, January 28, 2013.

Born April 17, 1919, in Carnesville, GA, she was the sixth of thirteen children born to the Myrtie Murphy and Lee Roy Seymore.

An adored Sunday school teacher for many years, Mrs. Brown retired from JP Stevens in Walterboro, SC, and was a member of Tremont Church of God in Greenville, SC.

Mrs. Brown is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Carlton and Linda Moore, of Piedmont, SC, and Gene and Nancy Morris, of Greer, SC; four grandsons, Charlie Moore, of Piedmont, SC, and Chris, Matt, and Gabe Morris, all of Simpsonville, SC; three brothers, Ralph Seymore, of Easley, SC, Raymond Seymore, of Piedmont, SC, and Talmadge Seymore, of Greenville, SC; many nieces and nephews; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, 639 North Main Street, Greenville, SC. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m., with pastors Timothy Kerns and Jeff Doughty officiating. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Greenville, SC. The family will be at the residence.
