The following bio was provided by Kathleen Clemence:
Private Brown was a member of Headquarters Battery, 196th Field Artillery Battalion, X Corps. On September 20, 1951, he was riding in a truck near Kojon-ni, North Korea. The truck ran off a steep grade and turned over killing him instantly. Private Brown was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
