Mildred Florence Brumage, 83, of 2704 Soyer St., Parkersburg, died Saturday morning at the St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was born at Slate, Wood County, a daughter of the late Ozias and Docia Deem Florence. She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church and retired from the Wood County Sheriff's Department where she had a clerical position. She also worked for 14 years at the American Viscose as a department supervisor and 3 years in the Viscose laboratory. She was a charter member and past president of the South Parkersburg Women's Club and was a member of the Flower and Garden Club.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbert Brumage; one sister, Mrs. Edward (Vesta Florence) Fly of Little Hocking; three nieces; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother Emmett Florence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Clifford Phillips and the Rev. David Spence officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen South Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today.
