Nannie L. Sterling Tucker was born in Lawrence County, Alabama, to William A. "Billy" Sterling and Ida May Alexander Sterling.

She married Jesse Tucker, a son of Richard Allen "Dick" Tucker and Caroline Elizabeth Brooks Tucker on Wednesday, March 1, 1899 in Lawrence County, Alabama.

The children of Nannie and Jesse Tucker are Floyd Tucker, Troy Tucker, Arthur Tucker, Clarence Tucker, Willis C. Tucker, Essie Day Garner, John Tucker and James Tucker 1926--1974.

Hartselle--Mrs. Nannie Tucker, 78, Hartselle, was dead on arrival at a local hospital this morning about 6 o'clock.

Funeral services will be announced later by Peck Funeral Home.

Surivors include five sons, Arthur, Clarence, Cleveland, John, and James Tucker, all of Hartselle; two daughters, Mrs. Essie Garner, Murphreesboro, Tenn.; and Mrs. Elsie Lackey, Cullman; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ludie Wilborn, Hartselle; and one brother, Willy Sterling, Hartselle
