Ella Elizabeth "Stubbie" Ficken of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away December 23, 2009 at Country Club Care Center.

Funeral services were held Monday December 28, 2009 at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee's Summit, with burial in Lee's Summit Cemetery. Rev. Russell Smith of the Tarkio United Methodist Church officiated. Visitation was at 1 p.m. prior to the service at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Ficken was born September 22, 1925 in Lee's Summit. She graduated from Lee's Summit High School in 1944. She was a member of Eastern Stars Summit Chapter 101.
She and her husband, Adolph Ficken, were married in 1959 and enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. They lived in Lee's Summit until moving to Sedalia and then Warrensburg 5 years ago.

She was preceded in death by one son, Johnnie Lee Pickard; her first husband, Walter Amon Pickard; her parents, Nina and Carl Harris; and six siblings.

She is survived by her husband Adolph Albert Andrew Ficken(Warrensburg); children James C. Pickard (Judy), Nancy Jean Welch (Leon), Joe Dean Pickard (Patty); daughter-in-law, Bonnie Pickard; step-children Betty Hallier (Keith), Eddie Ficken (Tamara), Sue Hart (Phil), Lou Conrad (Roy); sister Josephine Mason in California; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Country Club Care Center and Omega Health Care (Hospice) for their loving care and support.
