Ronald A. Davis (Cumberland)

CUMBERLAND Ronald Allen Davis, 50, of Cumberland, died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at his residence.

Born Nov. 21, 1955, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Lloyd F. Davis Sr. and Mary Virginia (Clise) Davis.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Frances Davis; and five brothers, Lloyd Jr., Ralph, Robert, Royce and Richard Davis.

He had served in the U.S. Army from 1974-1976.

Mr. Davis had an associate of arts degree in computer science.

Survivors include his son, John Michael Davis, Cumberland; one sister, Rebecca Davis, Hagerstown; and two brothers, Joseph Davis, Clarysville, and Roger Davis, Cumberland.

A committal service will be conducted at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Military honors will be accorded by the combined veterans honor guard.
