Ondalee Prevett Littrell was born to Joseph E. "Joe" and Mae Morris Prevett on Nov. 27, 1924, in Warm Springs, Arkansas. She was one of four children and the oldest girl born to the couple. She started school in Warm Springs, went to high school in Pocahontas, and completed at the high school in Maynard, graduating in 1944 along with her sister Madge. Ondalee was a stay-at-home mother and homemaker. Over the years the Littrells lived in a number of small towns in Arkansas, Texas, Missouri, Mississippi, and Georgia. After Harold died on August 21, 2001, Ondalee lived at Ravenden, Imboden, Bono, Heber Springs, and Pocahontas, Arkansas.

Ondalee died of sepsis after a brief infection at age 86, on Friday, July 22, 2011, at the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Graveside services were held in the Brakebill Cemetery, between Warm Springs and Middlebrook, Arkansas, on Tuesday morning, July 26, 2011. Gerald Fears, minister of the Skaggs Church of Christ in East Pocahontas, presided at the services. Taylor-Cox Funeral Home of Pocahontas was in charge of arrangements.
