Birth: Jun. 11, 1932
Elmore County
Alabama, USA
Death: May 16, 2004
Benton County
Washington, USA

On May 16, 2004, Bobby 'Red' Reddish passed into the arms of the Lord. Born and raised in Seman, Alabama, Bobby grew from humble beginnings into a man of unquestioned integrity and compassion. Nurtured by a career in the U.S. Army, he demonstrated love of his country and fellow man by serving in a variety of medical related duties. Throughout his military career, Bobby ministered to the health of his comrades in Korea, Germany and finally in El Paso, Texas, where he retired. Along the way, he became a Mason, a lifetime member of the VFW, and an avid fisherman. After retiring from the military he continued his life of service as a Physician's Assistant for the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Immigration and Naturalization Service. Bobby spent over half of his life in Texas and developed a deep fondness for his adopted state. A fondness, however, that was never supplanted by his love of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his only son, Everett.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 51 years, Kyung Ja (Sue); two daughters, Jane Schubert and Janet Moriarty; two sons-in-law, Steve Schubert and Mike Moriarity, and his daughter-in-law Diane Reddish. Bobby was proud to be 'Papa' to his eight grandchildren, one granddaughter-in-law and two great-grandchildren. And not to be forgotten, his beloved dog, Sally.

You always said your motor home was inching all by itself from the driveway to the road in El Paso wanting to go on a trip. R & I think of you often.
