Frances was a very good seamstress, and made many clothes, quilts, and other household goods. She also enjoyed painting and taking walks. She taught me how to crochet, a hobby I have enjoyed for years now.

One of her best qualities was her sense of humor, which she kept right down to the end. She was always ready to laugh, and even when she could no longer communicate verbally, she would try to get others to laugh by sticking out her tognue and making funny noises. She always wanted people to be happy.
