Fred M. Hines, 67, died suddenly in his home in Sheridan Thursday night following a heart attack. He had been in poor health for several years.
Services will be held Monday at 2 pm at the Hinshaw Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Griffith officiating and burial will be in Boxley Cemetery. Friends may call at the Mortuary Saturday and after 4 pm Sunday.
Son of Frank and Mary Tindall Hines, the deceased was born near Boxley and taught school during his early life. For 25 years he was an employee of the Indiana Condensed MIlk Co. of Sheridan, retiring a year ago because of poor health.
Survivors include the following children: Mrs. Pauline Stum of Zionsville; Mrs. Mary Olive Commons, Edwin Hines and Frederick Hines all of Sheridan community; Mrs. Evelyn Eiler of Westfield and Richard Hines at home, a sister, Mrs. Edith McGinn, of Atwood, Ill.; two brothers Emery Hines of Indianapolis and French Hines of Frankfort; two half-brothers Fletcher Hines of Indianapolis and Noble Hines of Alexandria.
