Earl Hines Passes Away
Funeral Tuesday for Veteran of World War I
Earl L. Hines, 51, died Saturday night in the Veterans Hospital at Danville, Ill. where he had been a patient for 15 years. He was a veteran of the First World War.
He is survivied by a brother, Leslie Hines, of Marion county, and an aunt, Mrs. Etel Hines, of this city, widow of the late Bert Hines, a former county auditor.
He was born and reared in the vicinity of Sheridan byt had been out of the county for many years. He lived in Indianapolis for a while before going to the Danville hospital. He was a son of Charles Hines who resided in Adams township for many years.
Funeral services in charge of Rev. Hershell Reed, of the Christian Church, will be held at the mortuary of Evans, Godby & Trout, at 10 a.m. Tuesday and interment will take place in Crownland cemetery.
