Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) Parrott was born 1803 in France. She married Charles Parrott. The 1880 census shows that they came from Paris, France. The family came to the United States of America in the early spring of 1845 and settled in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. Five years later the family moved to Lowell, Kent County, Michigan.
The family farmed 120 acres of land on the bottom left hand corner of lot 28. Lot 28 is located across the street from the Merriman Cemetery.
They had a total of seven children. The first five were born in France, George Parrott, Jacob Parrott, Margaret Parrott, Sophia Parrott, and Clement Parrott. Their last two children, Carmelia Parrott and Mary Parrott were both born in Michigan.
Charles died August 11, 1896 in Lowell, Kent County, Michigan and Elizabeth died August 8, 1870 also in Lowell, Kent County, Michigan. They were both buried in Merriman Cemetery in Lowell, Kent County, Michigan.
