Mrs. William O. Caire, 67, passed away suddenly at her home, 915 N. Madison St., at 7:30 Wednesday evening. She suffered a stroke of apoplexy about 5 o'clock.

Lillie Kneeland was born in Binghamton 67 years ago. At Augusta Center 40 years ago she was married to Mr. Caire, who survives. They had resided in Rome for the past 32 years.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Aid Society and Women's Missionary Society. She was held in high esteem by many friends.

Besides the husband she is survived by two children, Mrs. Harold Fisk and Victor K. Caire, both of Rome, two sisters, Misses Stella and Flora Kneeland, Providence, RI, and two grandchildren, Gerald B. Caire and Elsie Fisk.
