Tipsy was a special needs doggie.She was born totally deaf & had a neurological disorder...Later in her life she developed a heart murmur.

Twelve years ago a little boy knocked on my Son's door & asked him if he wanted a puppy.Said if they didn't find a home for her they were going to have her put down.Of course my Son being an animal lover would not have that so he took this little tiny Chihuahua puppy with her special needs.

The first thing he did was take her to their vet & one of the things the vet had told them was she was going to be a heart breaker meaning she wouldn't live very long.But Tipsy fooled the vet cause she lived twelve wonderful loving years with my son & daughter-in-law who gave her the best life possible.

On the morning of August 31st my Son was sitting in his recliner with Tipsy laying beside him.They had planned to take Tipsy & go swimming at the lake.My Son had got up to pack her some goodies & when he came back Tipsy was looking up at the ceiling acting strange.He picked her up & she died in his arms.I'm sure it was a heart attack & it was fast & painless for her..My Son tried CPR on her to save her but it was her time to go..

The vet was right about her being a heart breaker,not that she left to soon,but because she is so deeply loved & will be missed especially by my Son.She was his baby girl..

Until We Meet Again

I’m sorry that I had to leave my spirit strong my body weak,
Here with God I’ll wait for you, meanwhile there's lots for me to do!
So many critters all around and people here are kind to me,
And I’m no longer feeling sick, in Heaven there’s no pain you see!

Please don’t be sad I had to go, cause I just couldn’t stay
I felt so sick and lousy so God called me home that day.
I didn’t want to leave you but I know you’ll be just fine
God told me that He loves you to He’s with you all the time!

I’ll stop in to see you to make sure that you are well
I know that you won’t see me but I know that you will tell
When my spirit is close by, you will sense that I am near
Know that I’ll be trying hard to lick away your tears!

I want you too be happy cause I love you oh so much
And I know that someday God will let me feel your loving touch
I’m safe and happy here and I’m in God’s loving hand
And the lions eat with lambs in this special promised land
