He is survived by his wife, Kim (Nelson) Poirier, of Salem, children, Andrew Poirier of Concord, Nicole Poirier of Newmarket, and Bradley Poirier of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; step-children, Kevin Forzese of Exeter and Dillon Forzese of Boston; brothers, Robert and his wife, Lou-Ann Poirier, of Loudon, Charles and his wife, Jeanne Poirier, of No. Smithfield, R.I., John and his wife, Michelle Poirier, of Harrisville, R.I. and Kenneth and his wife, Anne Poirier, of No. Smithfield, R.I.; and many nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Eliana, Kai and Olivia Forzese. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 9, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. Funeral services will be private for the family.
