Nadine Rudy Everly, 80, Henderson, died at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
She was a member of Dupey Baptist Church in Bluff City. She was retired from Kusan Plastics. During World War II, she was a welder in the Evansville shipyard. Nadine enjoyed fishing, woodworking, feeding the birds and listening to gospel music. She was also passionate about Bible study and her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George W. Everly, who died Feb. 23, 2000.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Lena and Tommy Clement of Henderson; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Donna Everly of Georgetown, Ky.; one sister, Joyce Parker of San Benito, Texas; five grandchildren, Melinda Damrath, Damon Everly, Shannon Everly, Heather Lynn and Lynette Otey; and six great-grandchildren, Rendi Durham, Logan Haynes, Taylor Lynn, Addyson Otey, Isaac Damrath and Christian Everly.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Rev. Glen Morris and the Rev. Dan Book will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Donald Damrath, John Otey, Greg Lynn, Kelly Everly, Hodge Jackson and Damon Everly.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Carroll Haire, Jimmy Haire, Ralph Crook and Jimmy Blanford.
