HENDERSON, Ky. -- George W. Everly, 75, of Niagara, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville of heart failure.
He retired as a welder from Banner Truck and Trailer and was a World War II Army veteran.
He was a member of the Niagara Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Nadine; a daughter, Lena Clement of Henderson; a son, David of Georgetown, Ky.; brother, Darrell of Central City; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, with burial in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
