Sylvio served as a Private First Class, 175th Infantry, 29th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Windsor County, Vermont prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on February 25, 1942 at Fort Deven's, Massachusetts. He was noted as being employed as a Driver and also as Single, without dependents.

Sylvio was "Killed In Action" during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Service # 31069034

Sylvio's brother T/5 Romeo J Bisson also died during the war.
