Stephen Clive Allard, 77, of Live Oak Drive SW, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Allard was born in Salem, NH on July 14, 1931 to the late Frank E. and Alice Cross Allard.
Mr. Allard was a Korean and Vietnam Veteran in the US Army having retired after 21 years of service. He was also with the Special Forces Operations having served with the 5th & 7th, & numerous other Special Forces Group. He was a member of the Special Forces Association and the Calabash VFW Post #7288.
Surviving are his son, two daughters, a brother; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 2nd in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake, NC with military honors.
The Special Forces Honor Guard served as casketbearers.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Special Forces Chapter I-XVIII, P.O. Box 118 Fayetteville, NC 28302-0118.
